You know those mornings, it as as soon as you open your eyes you just know it isn’t going to be a very productive day!  Tried to dust it off, literally, with a vacuum through the house at the rude time of 8am. School holidays – still, and kids crumbs and bits everywhere.


Didn’t feel very hungry today, so started with a nice hot cup of beef bone broth.

Put a Chicken stock on with the bones of the Roasted Chook from the last few days and the original carcass.

A bit more food prep, a couple of sweet potatoes in the oven and chopped up and put in the dehydrator. They really are a great snack.

Removed my Beef Bone Broth from the freezer and put into freezer bags.

Thought I would try out my new Coconut Wraps.  Only four wraps in the packet for $12, so thought that was quite expensive.  They worked very well though.  Considered making some myself and googled for recipes, looks like you need a fresh coconut for the flesh.

Spent  some time this afternoon – (children free), looking into recipes for next week.  Are you able to plan a whole week at a time?  This is a challenge to do more than few days at time for me.   Once there are some favourites, it will make sorting out a week so much easier.

No exercise today, but a nap instead. Nurture time is need


A simple one, diced steak on a bed of lettuce with pumpkin and avocado.  Used my new Coconut Aminos Barbeque Sauce on the steak while cooking and it was lovely.
