Feeling sooo much better today.  Weight down by 700gms, the first weight loss in weeks!  Good sign.

Pre Exercise Snack

I knew I was off for an early walk, so didn’t want to get bogged down with time or effort. Blood sugars felt a bit low though, so I hoped it would be enough.

Very much like yesterdays, but I think a larger serve.   Slow Cooker Beef Stew with steamed Kalettes,  avocado and pre-baked zucchini.

I had little notice to pack to get off to the the Zoo with the hubby and kids.  He sorted them out (grateful sigh) and I worked on my stuff. Tried something new (my idea) using seaweed paper and made a roll with Zucchini, avocado and carrot.  We’ll see how it goes.  Had a glass of Coconut milk to keep me going before I left.

Lunch

So a very late lunch in the afternoon – the breaky took me from 10.20 to 2.30pm.  Everyone had eaten before me, so I snacked while they watched the Lions.

Two Herbed Beef Sausage patties, finely sliced, serve mushrooms cooked off yesterday, baked pumpkin cubed from fridge & handful  mesclun lettuce.  The salad was dressed with Olive Oil, Lemon and Plum Sauce.

Snacks

I had a few strawberries during the day and snacked on my dehydrated Sweet Potato.  It was definitely better having been baked in the oven first, but very chewy.  May try the next batch to be thinner to get the crunch into it. Anyway, I tossed the lot into a snap lock bag with a good lot of Celtic Salt and gave it a good shake up.

Homeward Bound

It was late as we drove home, getting stuck in peak hour traffic, so checked out the Seaweed wrap I had made earlier.  I DO NOT recommend it.  Eeek!  Pulled out the carrot and avo, but I the zucchini just wasn’t nice in it.

Dinner

Much the same as last night, easy to re-heat, plus I want my chicken bones for broth! Two portions of last nights Crispy Roast Chook by Sarah Wilson’s ‘I Quit Sugar for Life’, page 111.  One portion baked pumpkin with steamed broccoli.  Tonight I took a pic, I think I was so hungry last night I forgot.
